Spirulina Smoothie
-
This smoothie contains spirulina, which was first used by the Aztecs. As legend has it, their kingdom’s messengers used it to fuel their long-distance runs as it was believed to be an energy booster. It’s a great source of protein, B1-3, copper, and iron. It also contains magnesium, which supports the muscles and helps regulates heartbeats. Furthermore, magnesium aids in the creation of protein and energy. Spirulina lowers bad cholesterol and supports the immune system.
